Service Description
Embark on an unforgettable 10-day journey through Israel, exploring ancient cities, biblical landmarks, and vibrant markets. From the Mediterranean coast to Jerusalem’s sacred sites and the wonders of the Dead Sea, experience a rich blend of history, culture, and spirituality. Each day brings new discoveries and unique opportunities to connect with the land’s remarkable past and present. Day 1: Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport and meet your hosts. Transfer to Tel Aviv, tour ancient Jaffa (House of Simon the Tanner), and check in. Optional beach time. Overnight: Tel Aviv. Day 2: Explore Caesarea (Paul’s arrest site), continue to Haifa and Mt. Carmel (Elijah’s triumph), and end at Rosh Hanikra’s sea caves. Optional: Bahai Gardens, German Colony, Stella Maris. Overnight: Nahariya. Day 3: Visit Megiddo (Armageddon), Nazareth (Basilica of Annunciation, Synagogue Church, Mount of the Leap), and Cana (Jesus’ first miracle). Overnight: Sea of Galilee/Tiberias. Day 4: Enjoy Mt. Arbel views, visit Magdala, see the “Jesus Boat” at Ginossar, explore Tabgha (Loaves & Fishes), Capernaum (House of Peter, synagogue), and Bethsaida. Optional: Kursi. Overnight: Sea of Galilee/Tiberias. Day 5: Head north to Banias (Peter’s confession), Golan Heights (Mt. Bental, view toward Syria), boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and Yardenit baptismal site. Optional: Tel Dan. Overnight: Sea of Galilee/Tiberias. Day 6: Tour Beit Shean (biblical city), pass Gilgal, visit Jericho (Mount of Temptation), and enjoy a first view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. Overnight: Jerusalem. Day 7: In Jerusalem: visit Mt. Zion (Upper Room, King David’s Tomb), Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, Mahane Yehuda market, and Ammunition Hill (1967 battle site). Overnight: Jerusalem. Day 8: Explore City of David, Hezekiah’s tunnels, Davidson Park, Western Wall (including tunnels), and Hasmonean Village. Walk through the Old City to Bethesda, Gethsemane, and Garden Tomb. Optional: Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Day 9: Visit Israel Museum (Shrine of the Book, Second Temple model), Yad Vashem, and Bethlehem (Church of the Nativity, Shepherds’ Fields). Overnight: Jerusalem. Day 10: Experience a camel ride in the Judean desert, tour Masada, relax at Ein Gedi oasis, visit Qumran (Dead Sea Scrolls), and float in the Dead Sea. Overnight: Desert. Day 11: Return to Tel Aviv, explore Carmel Market and Independence Hall or the TLV Innovation Center, then transfer to the airport for departure.
